The Aloe Vera plant has been known for its healing properties throughout history. Of the some 350 varieties true aloe or Aloe Barbadensis Miller is medically the most powerful. Known by some as “The Healing Plant”, “Medicine Plant”, “Silent Healer” and “Burn Plant”, Aloe is known to work on two main areas of the body. Firstly on body surfaces and membranes, the epithelial tissue and secondly on the immune system. It contains more than 75 ingredients, all of which are important for health and wellbeing. There is a very high content of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, sugars, plant sterols and other elements that together have a synergistic action.
