Welcome To Oaksbrook

A range of on site activities offered by Jane to add to your experience.

Here at Oaksbrook we are able to offer a range of activities, mostly facilitated by Jane, but also sometimes additional themes and content are added with tutors being trusted freelance speakers, therapists and teachers all qualified and insured in their own field. These activities can be booked by our Herdsman holiday and Glamping guests or other visitors to the farm as a stand alone activity for a group of friends or as part of a day retreat package.

Meditation and Sound Healing

In our ever busy lives we are often over stretched, over stimulated and overworked. The need to be able to unwind and deeply relax is ever more poignant. Meditation as a form of creating relaxation is proven to have many health benefits for our physical body plus mental and emotional health. It also reconnects you to the still centre of your being.

Let Jane take you on a guided meditation in our Walnut barn or perhaps weather permitting you might like to try an out door meditation session. Sitting in a peaceful setting in nature with the sound of our horses quietly munching on the grass or sit among our friendly sheep and feel a profound connection with the animals. They have much to teach us about being in the present moment. Maybe try a walking meditation where Jane will guide you through some Forest Bathing exercises.

Sessions usually last between 1 hour and an hour and a half and can include finishing up with a cup of herbal tea at the Walnut Barn to enjoy at your leisure.

Listen to a series or gentle relaxing sounds from Koshi chimes, Native American Style Flute and Crystal singing bowls.

Prices from £10 to £15.00 per person for groups.

Minimum 2 people at £20 per person.

Learn Some New Skills For Self Care and Nurturing

A two hour interactive talk and workshop hosted by Jane. You can choose from the following subjects.

        • Introduction to Flower Essences - learn about the Bach Flower and other essences. Here we look at different ways of selecting those that are right for you, their uses and applications and you will be able to create your own combination bottle or spray to take away.
        • Aroma Balance Interactive Workshop - here we will learn some basics about Aromatherapy Oils and their application and uses. We will experiment with some scent sticks to see which we are drawn to. After listing your observations and three favourite choices from their scent alone we reveal the oils and then create either a moisturising cream, a bath oil or a shampoo with your chosen oils to take home. I use Neals Yard Organic’s Essential Oils.
        • Wellbeing Talk and Demo - A combination of Flower Essences, Magnetic Well Wellness products, crystals, sound therapy and the energy body and divination cards. Let Jane put together a session for you combining her skills. There will be opportunity to learn about different techniques to help balance the emotions and promote relaxation and wellbeing. You can explore and experience some new techniques. We touch on acupressure and EFT and a short demo of Pranic Healing.

Drinks included, other light refreshments available. Products available to purchase too.
