This essence was made amidst the Corona Virus outbreak in the UK. We have all been on lock down for two weeks now.  Our Prime Minister has been admitted to Hospital with the virus. Several celebrities and Royalty, our own Prince Charles have have it. It does not discriminate. Across the world it has literally brought our world to a stand still. Many have lost love ones already, our NHS and many sectors providing crucial services are working so hard whilst most of us are staying at home, practicing social distancing and isolating. There is a lot of fear and confusion.  The media are going crazy and there is a lot of fear in the collective consciousness that is hard to not be affected by. Social media is full of reports, some truths, some fake news, some perhaps half truths, conspiracy theories abound it’s hard to know and discern what to believe is really happening here.

I am so lucky to be living where I do, surrounded by my beautiful animals and nature. I’m very used to my own company and actually enjoying spending time with my husband doing the garden and looking after the animals together. He so rarely has time to slow down and take stock, even to stop entirely doing and just be. We are all being asked to do this right now. We have the opportunity to find our centre and step out of the crazy fast pace of life for a while. Perhaps when this is all over we can create a new world.

Why Did I Choose to Make Black Thorn Essence

I hadn’t set out to create Blackthorn Essence. In fact early that morning laying awake in bed I was thinking I’d like to recreate a simpler version of my Equi Anima Essence and the beautiful Cherry Blossom I made and essence with this time last year is in full bloom and radiant. A Beautiful Way to Stay Hydrated

A beautifully crafted glass water bottle with a separate glass chamber for crystal elixir combination for your Mind, Body and Soul, allowing you to drink the energy of the crystals safely.  For centuries people have been working with crystals to help with healing on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. One of the easiest ways to benefit from the healing energies of crystals is to drink water that has been infused with crystal energy.

The bottle has an eco friendly and very attractive bamboo to and bottom and the glass pod has a silicone base stopper to prevent leakage. The stopper is removable allowing different crystals to be placed inside. Pods can be purchased separately with a cork stopper enabling different combinations to be used also.

Making a Gem Essence

Being able to change the crystals allow you to use your bottle to make a gem essence.  Simply place the crystal you would like to make an Essence from in your pod, fill with spring water, create a sacred spot to stand you bottle perhaps with some flowers or offerings from nature nearby and set your intention for creating an essence as you would if making a flower essence and leave you bottle to absorb the energy of the sun or moon.  You will then have a mother tincture in your bottle which you can pour into a bottle containing 50% Brandy or similar to preserve it.

These bottles are available to purchase at Brook Farm for holiday guests or visitors attending a workshop and the RRP is between £30 and £31 depending on the crystal combination.  The price here is for mailing purposes and includes postage and packaging.  Please contact me to be advised of the crystal combinations available. A chance to come on a small group walk on our 20 acre farm. Restricted to just four dogs so that space can be given to each to keep them in their comfort zone. They will have opportunities to explore and investigate things on the farm at their own pace. We will discuss how we can help them feel safe and overcome their fears and hopefully reduce reactivity. We can practice some training and techniques to distract and redirect attention to us. Back in the classroom each dog and handler can have a seat with distance from each other and have a drink and biscuits while I talk about some holistic therapies and essences that can help along with practical steps and tips to help the dogs feel safe, calm and more confident.

Excessively reactive or aggressive dogs towards other dogs might be better with one to one sessions rather than this small group. Please get in touch if I can help with an individual session.

A half day workshop where participants will learn about the Chakras and Aura and how we might balance them.  I will  demonstrate some Pranic Healing  for cleansing and energising the Chakras. We have always considered the main 7 energy centres or Chakras, but there are many more. Each responsible for the cleansing and energising of associated organs. The chance to sample some of my Light Body and Chakra Essences and take your own bottle home.

Guided meditation with chakra visualisation, how we might use colour and sound to balance them, mindfulness and being in the present moment. Tools for stress release and relaxation. Essences for wellbeing and emotional balance. We will be doing some seated or standing Qi Gong exercises to bring our energy up and also practice feeling energy. Weather permitting we might go outside to connect to the energy of Pine Trees and Oak.  The day will be fluid and evolve.

Who wouldn’t want to feel that unconditional love given by a dog! Cani-Anima is one of my Anima Essence range, Co created with the help of the most gentle loving dog Roxy along with The energies of Rose Quartz and a beautiful Wild Rose with Heart shaped petals.

This delicate essence was made with the sun method with petals in a glass bowl and the Rose quartz beside it along with Roxy’s name tag. A connection was made with her in spirit whilst I was sitting next to the Rose bushes from which the petals came I felt an overwhelming sense of love and peace. Like being enveloped in a soft pink cloud. A very gentle deeply loving heart energy.

This essence can help with grief, sadness, to feel unconditional love and open us up to giving and receiving love. For love of the self and for a peaceful state of mind. It could be good for healing deep emotional traumas and wounds. I primarily made this with Roxy’s help as a gift for dogs. It would be great therefore for any rescue dogs and those that may have been lacking in love and nurturing as a puppy or from their early time with humans. Perhaps at weaning when a puppy first leaves the litter and for the mother who finds herself alone after the puppies have gone.  It can be given to dogs any time we want to let them feel love especially if we are not  around to give it, so if we are going on holiday and the dog is to be left with others or going into kennels. Any sort of big change like moving home, a bereavement or loss etc. It’s like sending your dog a loving hug!

Of course it can be great for humans too.  Whenever we feel we want to feel the love

10 ml Stock bottle

Directions: From stock, 2 drops added to a 30 ml dosage bottle filled with mineral water and you can add vegetable glycerine or a small amount of Brandy to preserve or keep refrigerated. From this bottle dose as required or directed, usually 3 or 4 drops 3 times a day, but can be added to water bowls and feeds.

You can also make a spray to mist around bedding and sleeping areas or in crates and cages if being used at rescue centres or vets.
