About Radiance in Transition: Moving Through Change with Grace

10:00 start until 16:00—aligning with the vibrant energy of the solstice.

A collaborative Day with Jane Gilbey and Gill Leach.

Set amidst the rolling green pastures and trees of Brook Farm and Retreat, this one-day sanctuary offers a peaceful space to navigate life’s shifts. Surrounded by the gentle presence of horses and the beauty of summer wildflowers.

The Journey of the Day

  • Arrival & Grounding: We begin our circle under the canopy of trees, tuning into the farm’s natural rhythm to arrive fully in the present, welcome in the barn.
  • Discussion and Reflection in the barn: The topic of change, our fears and moving into love and finding joy, energy and motivation.
  • Morning Tea: A short pause to breathe and relax, to chat among friends and draw a card for inspiration.
  • Releasing Fears: A reflective meditation near the animals, using the horses’ grounded energy to help us identify and release old fears. We will journal our reflections and feelings.
  • Midday Lunch (13:00): A long, communal break to nourish ourselves and connect with the community.
  • Creative Renewal: An afternoon session focused on the joy of stepping into the “new,” using the farm’s natural abundance for inspiration and creative expression. Creating something in nature, a grounding hand drawn stone, some art or similar. Journaling in Gratitude for where we have come from, where we are and where we are going.
  • Afternoon Tea: A final moment of rest before our closing practice.
  • Afternoon Movement: A gentle walk around the meadows focused on moving with grace, helping the body feel steady and supple amidst transition.
  • Solar Stillness & Closing: Whilst on our walk we will do a deep meditation in the tall grass, standing or seated, soaking in the solstice light and anchoring the day’s intentions by the Beith Portal or The Horses View Memorial Grove.
  • The Golden Farewell: We conclude with a “Honey Toast” celebration using honey harvested right here on the farm—a sweet, golden ritual to seal our intentions and celebrate the “sweetness” of moving forward.

Exchange for the day £75 including lunch and refreshments, craft materials, honey gift and essence.
